WIC (Women, Infants & Children) is a special supplemental food and nutrition education program for pregnant,postpartum women and children under five years of age who meet certain guidelines. The Newman Memorial Outreach WIC Clinic is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. To find out if you are eligible or for more information call 580-938-2551 ext 269 or 888-655-2942.
The VFC (Vaccines for Children) Program is a federally funded program that provides vaccines to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay. These vaccines are available and distributed at Newman Memorial Hospital’s Immunization Clinic which is held every available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for infants and children up to 18 years of age.
Both the WIC and Immunization Clinics at Newman are in cooperation with the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Newman Memorial Hospital is an equal opportunity provider.
